The PANGEA Movement was founded in 2019 by Marcos Bulacio, William DiRicco, and Juan Duque when they decided to turn their love of traveling and exploring the world into a dedicated commitment to reducing the garbage they hated encountering. They started their company with a single mission: to clean up the planet. Since inception, they’ve managed to fund 42 cleanups in 10 different countries with over 1,500 volunteers.
To fund these efforts, the three have created and sold sustainably produced, eco-friendly products, which collectively have raised over $500,000 USD. Now, instead of simply cleaning up trash that washes up on the beach, they are preventing trash from ever getting to the ocean in the first place.
By going directly to the root of the problem, this relatively new movement has proven that when it comes to helping the planet it pays to work smarter and not harder.
